Newcastle Transport has been advised of planned industrial action by the Rail, Tram and Bus Union (RTBU) on Monday 24 November.
Some bus services may run late or be cancelled at short notice.
Schools have been informed, and we have asked the RTBU to provide assurance that no child will be left behind during this action. If a school service is cancelled or significantly delayed, our Operations Control Centre will contact the school’s administration team directly so students, teachers and families can be notified promptly.
Our team is working to minimise disruption. This action will only occur on Monday 24 November.
Possible bus routes affected: 10X, 11, 12, 13, 14, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 41, 42, 43, 44, 46, 47, 48 and On Demand.
Plans are in place to ensure bus services return to regular operation as quickly as possible after the action ends. Customers are encouraged to plan ahead and consider alternative transport options during this time.
